Aurora Livoli, a 19-year-old born in Rome and resident in the province of Latina , is the young woman found dead on Monday morning in a courtyard on Via Paruta in Milan .

The girl was identified by the Carabinieri thanks to the release of images taken from video surveillance cameras.

She had left home on November 4th, as reported by her family, who then had a final telephone contact with her on the morning of November 26th, when she told them that she was fine and that she had no intention of returning, without providing any information on her whereabouts.

Prosecutor Pansa has opened a murder case. An initial medical examiner's examination revealed that the victim had marks on her neck and a bruise over one eye .

An autopsy, which could be performed tomorrow, will be needed to determine the cause of death, as well as to determine whether the young woman was abused before her death.
