After the tragedy of the bus that crashed from the overpass - 21 people died in the accident - there is alarm in Mestre over another overpass, the "Della Giustizia" one. Passers-by reported unsafe plaster and firefighters rushed to the scene. The building is one of the oldest city buildings and dates back to the first decade of the last century: it allows you to overcome the railway line to Treviso and Trieste.

In the meantime, Nico V., a 28-year-old German, has returned home to Switzerland, the first of those injured in the bus accident to be discharged from hospital. «I couldn't accept discovering that this pain, the deaths, the injuries, were caused by something that could easily have been avoided. If I'm here it's because I'm a miracle worker," he told the Corriere.

«I feel like I had a guardian angel who saved my life. I have a head injury, many blows, my right arm hurts. But I'm here..."

In the crash he lost his little girl, Charlotte, aged one year and 17 months, while his 27-year-old wife, mother of the child, is hospitalized in intensive care in a medically induced coma.

Yesterday the young man had to face a terrible task: to identify the body of his little daughter.

He remembers almost nothing of the tragedy.
