Cagliari Calcio announces the renewal of Yael Trepy's contract. The 2006-born French striker, who scored on his professional debut against Cremonese on January 8th in a 2-2 draw , has signed a new contract until June 30, 2030. This is a sign of confidence in one of the many young players successfully promoted by Fabio Pisacane this season.

Trepy joined Cagliari three years ago. He initially played for the Under-17s, making just one appearance, mostly with the Under-18s and Primavera. Under Pisacane, he was the protagonist of the spectacular run that led to the Coppa Italia victory on April 9th of last year : his goal sealed the 3-0 victory over AC Milan in the final played at the Arena Civica in Milan.

Trepy joined the first team from this season's pre-season training camp. He has made three appearances in total, the last coming on Monday against Lecce . He has also played 14 games, scoring six goals, in the Primavera 1 Championship.
