There are no dates, there are no deadlines. What is certain, according to Ukrainian President Zelensky , is that " the war is not a movie and it will not end as quickly as we would like ." The statements, as reported by his office's website, during a meeting in Kiev with the CEO of Fox Corporation, Lachlan Murdoch, and Fox News journalists.

«We will not surrender to the Russians. For some reason – explained the head of state – people treat conflicts like a film and expect that there are no long pauses in events, that the image before their eyes always changes, that there are surprises every day. But for us, for our soldiers, it is different. These are our lives . It's hard work every day. And everything will not end as quickly as we would like, but we have no right to give up and we will not ." Zelensky then thanked representatives of the Fox Corporation for the media coverage of the conflict and for reporting on "Moscow's atrocities, despite the risks to themselves." The reference also refers to the group of reporters who ended up in the crosshairs of enemy fire in the spring of last year, while they were in the Kiev region. On that occasion two journalists lost their lives.

On the fate of the clash with Putin, reassurances also arrived from the American Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin , who arrived this morning (surprisingly, not announced for security reasons) in Kiev. “ Washington will continue to support your fight ,” he explained. The visit to meet with Ukrainian leaders and strengthen the United States' staunch support for the country's fight for freedom.
