«Trump in contact with Putin. And during the pandemic he gave him Covid tests»

Donald Trump allegedly had up to seven phone calls with Putin after leaving the White House : the last one this year while he was pushing for Congress to block new aid to Ukraine. Not only that: in 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, he allegedly secretly sent the Moscow leader - for personal use - anti-Covid test kits, which were in short supply in Russia.
These are some of the revelations contained in “War”, the new book by Bob Woodward , the dean of US political journalists, who together with his colleague Carl Bernstein brought the Watergate scandal to light during the Nixon era.
With less than a month to go until the presidential election, the Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter’s pages have obviously become explosive.
For the Republican candidate's entourage, these are just "made-up stories, by a truly demented and unbalanced man" , who wrote "a trash book that belongs in the bargain bin of the fiction section of a low-cost bookshop or that can be used as toilet paper".
Democratic candidate Kamala Harris (who the latest polls show is three points ahead ) also quickly commented: "People in America were struggling to get tests and this guy was sending them to Russia, to a murderous dictator for his own use? This is just the latest blatant example of who Trump is, secretly sending Covid test kits for personal use to Putin, an adversary of the United States, when he was saying that Americans should inject bleach into their blood . Think about what that means," Harris said in an interview about what Woodward wrote.
But “War” also contains previously unpublished behind-the-scenes information on outgoing President Joe Biden , who in some reports called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a “son of b...” and a “bad f...king guy”.
