The magistrate of the district court of Islamabad has expressed a favorable opinion on the extradition of Shabbar Abbas , the father of Saman, the 18-year-old girl who died in Novellara and according to the Reggio Emilia public prosecutor's office killed by her parent and four other family members because she had opposed a pre-defined wedding.

The judge expressed his opinion in favor of extradition, rejecting the request for release on bail made by Abbas's lawyer. The man, ordered the magistrate, must remain at the disposal of the Italian authorities in the Adyala prison for the videoconference connection with the hearings underway in Italy .

Abbas can appeal to the High Court of Islamabad and in any case the most important opinion on extradition is missing: that of the Pakistani government , between Italy and Pakistan there are no bilateral agreements on the matter.

Shabbar Abbas is accused in the ongoing trial in Reggio Emilia before the court of Assizes for the murder of his 18-year-old daughter Saman , together with his wife Nazia (still on the run), his uncle Danish Hasnain and his two cousins Ikram Ijaz and Nomanhulaq Nomanhulaq: these the last three all arrested and in prison in Italy.
