«Italy has been determined to support Ukraine since the beginning of the invasion with financial, military and humanitarian support. Ukraine knows it can count on us at 360 degrees. Ukraine can count on Italy, we have been there and we will be there». This was stated by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni from Warsaw, at the end of the meeting with Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki .

"Poland is the moral and material border of the West and we as Europeans must say thank you for what it is doing," added the prime minister.

At the center of the conversation are the bilateral relations between the two countries, but - also and above all - the conflict between Moscow and Kiev. "The Italian and Polish governments supply arms together and we talked about future arms supplies to Ukraine so that there is peace and stability," explained Morawiecki.
