Pope Francis once again speaks of homosexuality and underlines that "condemning these people is a sin".
"People with homosexual tendencies are children of God, God loves them, God accompanies them", added the Holy Father. And again: «I'm not talking about groups but about people, lobbies are something else, I'm talking about people».
In the press conference on the return flight from South Sudan, the Pope reiterated that "the criminalization of homosexuality is a problem not to be overlooked", underlining that "there is a phrase in the catechism of the Catholic Church: they should not be marginalised".
The Pope also spoke of war, emphasizing that the conflict in Ukraine affects the whole world, which is on the verge of self-destruction.
“I'm open to meeting both presidents, the one of Ukraine and the one of Russia, I'm open for the meeting. If I have not gone to Kiev it is because it is not possible for the moment to go to Moscow but I ask for dialogue», said the Holy Father.
