The death toll from the earthquakes that devastated various provinces of Turkey and Syria has risen to almost 25,000.

Thousands are instead injured, while according to the UN agency Unhcr the displaced number exceeds 5 million.

The machine of international solidarity has been set in motion, with the sending of aid, men and equipment to the two affected countries to manage the emergency.

Meanwhile, digging continues in the rubble of collapsed buildings. And what the rescuers call "miracles" continue: men, women and children pulled alive from the debris, even 100 hours after the extremely violent earthquake.
