Only two games remain in the regular season. Winning one is enough to secure a spot in the playoffs for the women's basketball championship. On Sunday at 4:30 pm, Dinamo Women will be looking for a major upset in Sesto San Giovanni on the Geas court.
It's no easy feat to beat a team that has only lost to Venice at home. On the other hand, the Sassari team surprised Geas in the Coppa Italia quarterfinals with a 60-58 victory after coming back from 11 points down.
American guard Julia Boros reviews the match: "We know Geas well: a team with strong players and excellent shooters, whom we'll have to limit with aggressive defense. We want to make the playoffs."
The young American player has improved in performance and explains: "I don't just focus on shooting but I also try to be useful to the team on pick-and-rolls, with passing and with an aggressive defense that brings energy."
