"Yesterday at the Cagliari trade fair, there were almost 1000 of us on a sunny Sunday in early November. About forty high school students were outside protesting. Not even a breath of breeze... More than wind!" Roberto Vannacci wrote this on his Facebook profile, the day after the event that saw him as the protagonist in the Sardinian capital , without giving up taking shots at the groups that protested against him on that occasion.

In the message, the general and MEP thanked, in addition to the organizers of the event and the representatives of the League in Sardinia, also "the supporters and promoters who gave their support, the mayors present and the category representatives" and "all those who attended who made me feel at home. Thanks to the many young people present who give me so much hope".

Vannacci then assured: «In Brussels, Sardinia has a point of reference».
