The PalaSerradimigni curse has been going on since February

A win in January against Brescia, one on February 1st against Cremona, and then nothing. Between Serie A and their Serie A2 debut, they suffered six consecutive defeats. For eight months, Dinamo fans haven't celebrated their players at the end of a match. And the statistic is even more impressive considering that Brescia and Cremona are two clubs whose shares were acquired by two separate American groups to create the two Rome teams.
Banco's next home game is scheduled for October 18th against Cento, a team still on zero points. But first, there's the away game in Mestre, which offered a two-faced experience: a 22-point lead in Turin, and a 39-point defeat at home against Livorno.
The Sassari team also has its ups and downs, having defeated Milan's Urania side, but then fell at home yesterday (72-81) to a less-than-ideal Montecatini team. The Tuscans' stellar three-point shooting performance (13/38) was facilitated by a slow start on defense, with low-level shots or unclear ranges. Dinamo's abysmal 8/18 free throw shooting was another factor in the defeat.
There's no shortage of excuses, as the absences of starting point guard Kajami-Keane (Irishman Flood, however, made a decent debut), winger Michele Vitali, big man and captain Jeff Brooks, and Sassari point guard Riccardo Pisano weighed heavily. However, the defensive stance and timely tactical decisions (calling timeouts and the 3-2 zone matchup) are areas that need improvement. Let's hope the infirmary is emptied as soon as possible.
