President Todde brings Councilor Manca into line. This is the meaning of a letter sent by fifteen regional councilors of the opposition a few days after the clash between Desirè Manca and the mayors, represented by the president of the ANCI Daniela Falconi.
A squabble born from a missed meeting on job centers and Aspal. The councilor, who deals with work, accused the mayors of desertion on a crucial issue such as employment, they replied by talking about lack of institutional respect and invitations not being sent. In the end both parties asked for a formal apology from the other ( HERE IS THE NEWS ).
«A normal mix-up has been transformed into a surreal, meaningless and dangerous institutional clash», attack Paolo Truzzu, Emanuele Cera, Antonello Floris, Francesca Masala, Corrado Meloni, Fausto Piga and Cristina Usai of Fratelli d'Italia; Franco Mula, Gigi Rubiu and Stefano Schirru of Alleanza Sardegna - Italian Liberal Party; Umberto Ticca, Giuseppe Fasolino and Aldo Salaris of the Sardinian Reformers; Alberto Urpi of Sardinia at the Center - 20Venti; Alessandro Sorgia of Gruppo Misto.
The letter continues: «It would be appropriate to call for a greater sense of the Institutions and respect for a minimum institutional grammar, having as its first objective collaboration and not conflict for the sole purpose of fueling personal consensus».
Manca is attacked because she would have transformed a communication defect into a "rustic duel, also fueling the free rein of her social followers towards the mayors, with some gratuitous, dangerous attacks aimed exclusively at delegitimizing the institutions". The regional councilors did not even like the attack against the president of the ANCI, Daniela Falconi, to whom councilor Manca even asked for a formal apology.
«We believe that in the autonomous history of Sardinia it has never happened that a regional councilor identified the mayors as counterparties and above all exposed them to such a media pillory. We are convinced that this behavior is objectively inappropriate, unbecoming and unworthy of an institutional representative, because the resolution of the many problems that afflict our Sardinia can only take place through mutual recognition, correct institutional relations and collaboration between the executive, the Council and the mayors" .
