The Guarantee Commission on strikes in essential public services warns Cigl and Uil, who have called a general strike against the Draghi maneuver for December 16, explaining that there is no minimum interval between one stop and another, considering the mobilizations already planned in other individual sectors and at a territorial level, including transport and schools, and does not respect the so-called “allowance period” envisaged for postal services and for those of environmental hygiene.

For these reasons, the Authority asks the two acronyms to reschedule the day off from work, respecting the rules within five days.

CGIL and UIL, however, go straight ahead, confirming the date: the unions led by Maurizio Landini and Pierpaolo Bombardieri ensure that they will be in the square, respecting the rules, and are ready to exempt post office workers from the stop and cancel the strike scheduled for December 13 to environmental services.
The two general secretaries said they were willing to resume dialogue with the premier, regarding the most important issues: the pension reform, with the overcoming of the Fornero law, and the tax issue , with the request for a more decisive cut in taxes. for the lowest incomes of workers and retirees.

Next Thursday the eight-hour stop of CGIL and UIL will be accompanied by the national demonstration in Rome, which will take place simultaneously with four others to be held in Cagliari, Palermo, Bari and Milan under the slogan "Together for justice".

The CISL has already made it known that it will not take part in the initiative: for Saturday 18 December it organized a protest against the budget law in the capital entitled "For development, work, cohesion: responsibility takes to the streets".
