Christian Solinas introduced the new council : «I thank the councilors who are not part of the current executive for political reasoning». This legislature "has been marked by emergencies of an epochal nature" , he explained, "but now we plan to relaunch government action in the post-pandemic phase. Inside there are the resources, and the skills to trace a path that sees the conclusion by focusing on health, urban planning, energy, and transport. Each department has internal potential that must be developed.

Now, he added, «I believe that the new Council can operate and give a rhythm because the problems do not wait. Today, for example, we are talking about omnibus two which gives 210 million to categories in difficulty ».

But what can be done in just over a year? «We are certainly not at year zero: we have started a process in terms of local authorities, in the field of urban planning there is a great deal of work done which will allow us to reap the benefits in a short time». This path, he concluded, "looks in continuity to the continuation of the Legislature".

«The composition of the new council wanted to take into account a balance between skills, professionalism and representation . A few more days of negotiations served to secure a team that will be able to give excellent results,” Solinas specified.

A more sardist-driven executive with a weakened League? "There are no weakening or enhancements - he underlined - there is an integrated government team with technicians who will work in unison to carry on the program".

HYPOTHESIS FOR RE -APPLICATION – On the hypothesis of re-applying in 2024 : «For now we are working on projects and things to do. At the end of the legislature we will make a reflection, we will see if there are the conditions to continue this experience, both as a political formula and as a personal commitment".

THE EXCLUDED – Of the councilors excluded (Mario Nieddu, Quirico Sanna and Gabriella Murgia), Solinas specified that «it was not a question of missing reappointments, but of a review of the roles of each one ». But "this does not mean that the skills and professionalism of the councilors who are not part of this second executive are not part of a larger government project".

THE RECONFIRMATIONS – Andrea Biancareddu (UDC) at Education is one of the confirmed councilors. The centrists asked for a second delegation that did not arrive: "It is true that it did not arrive, as always we are from the government and we deferred to the president". Gianni Chessa (Psd'Az) al Turismo is also still in the Giunta: «I've always been calm, I sleep well every day and I'm lucky enough to be elected to the Regional Council, I thank you for the trust that allows me to continue to be a councilor : confirmation is a sign of recognition for the work done in three years».
