An extraordinary show is announced with the choir S'Arrodia, the tenores of Neoneli, the popular orchestra of Orlando Maschia di Maracalagaonis and the choir of Abbasanta. After two years of hiatus due to the pandemic, the choral festival " Is duas colombas " resumes in Sinnai . We go back to singing with this highly anticipated appointment in honor of Is "Columbas" (Stefano, Felice, Gigi and Ambrogio who are no longer there and who have had an important role in the growth of the group.

"After 12 editions in 12 years, we would never have expected such a long period of inactivity and, above all - commented the president of the choir Marco Monni - with such devastating effects in terms of hospitalizations and deaths on the world population, compared to which our own inactivity appears simply trivial. However, this period has led us, almost forced, to devote a little more time to reflection. Where normal daily life often produced superficiality, controversy and discontent, the pandemic has provoked, as the only positive side, the rediscovery of important values such as solidarity, a sense of friendship and, as in our case, the love for singing. and the joy of associative life ".

The choir is directed by maestro Maurizio Boassa. Adds the vice president Andrea Atzeni : “ Let's go back to commemorate our friends Stefano, Felice, Gigi and Ambrogio , in whose memory we will still look for inspiration and energy to honor our commitments in the best possible way and for a long time. However, we also want to address a thought to all the victims, and their families, who the covid caused and which, unfortunately, will continue to cause for some time to come. With the hope that the downward curve of infections will lead us as soon as possible to the definitive disappearance of the virus ".

The appointment is for May 14 at the Sinnai Civic Theater at 7pm. Great expectations not only for the Sinnai choir, but also for the Neoneli tenores, for the popular orchestra Orlando Mascia di Maracalagonis and for the Abbasanta choir.
