American singer Aaron Carter, brother of Nick of the Backstreet Boys , was found dead at his home in Lancaster , California.

The artist, born in Florida in 1987, was lifeless in the bathtub . Police officers intervened on the spot but no information was given about the causes of death .

Carter, who became famous in the early 2000s with the album "Aaron's Party (Come Get It)", had repeatedly declared that he was addicted to drugs , also explaining that he had many difficulties in relying on detoxification. A few days ago he was stopped by police who had caught him in a state of intoxication driving a car.

The 34-year-old had an 11-month-old son with partner Melanie Martin.
