The league leaders return to success. At the “Vanni Sanna” Torres beat the difficult Ancona 1-0 on a goal by Ruocco who collected a cross from Liviero, who returned in style after a month and a half out.

The victory consolidates the primacy of the rossoblù, who did well to recover after the defeat suffered last Sunday against Virtus Entella.

Tough match: Torres builds, Ancona closes well and plays a throw-in. In the 3rd minute Diakite reaches the right back and serves it back for Ruocco who tries to stop and turn in the area but a defender takes the ball away from him. In the 7th minute Mastinu has time to stop but finishes badly. In the 12th minute Verduci scores the cross from the left but Diakite heads too far.

Great opportunity in the 15th minute with Mastinu's shot from the edge which the visiting goalkeeper parried. In the 28th minute Zaccagno missed a clearance at the feet of Spagnoli who blocked badly and wasted the gift.

Verduci gets hurt on the half hour mark, Liviero who has been absent for a month and a half comes on and in the 37th minute his dribble into the area is stopped with his hand by Saco, but the mediocre referee doesn't see.

In the second half Ancona removes a striker and brings in a midfielder, Torres brings in the Menabò tower in place of an unproductive Fischnaller. In the 77th minute Liviero crossed from the left: in the small area Ruocco blocked it with his chest and scored.

Mastinu came close to doubling the lead in the 93rd minute but the goalkeeper managed to "remove" the ball from the top corner.
