Last but not least. The first half of the season ends with Torres at the bottom of the table with 11 points. The closest team is Pontedera, second to last with 14 points. Four points are away from fourth-to-last place, so the race for the play-off spots remains wide open.

While the Sassari team has yet to find the win it's been missing since the opening matchday, they've earned three consecutive positive results for the first time this season (all draws) and have been consistently scoring at the "Vanni Sanna" stadium for the past three matches. Coach Greco has relied on the Praetorians he's led for three or four seasons, and thanks to the players' experience and the greater freedom they've been given, Torres has become solid, as their performances demonstrate.

Goals are no longer a worry: four goals in the last five games. Only the final step remains: victory. Only with a few wins in the second half of the season (at least five or six) can the Rossoblu climb the standings and perhaps avoid the relegation play-offs.
