Inaugurated a year ago in the Clemente Pavilion of the Sassari Museum and set to close this month, the exhibition “In the footsteps of Clemente” will be extended until 30 September . Decision born from the success of the installation created by the stylist Antonio Marras together with his wife Patrizia and dedicated to Gavino Clemente , cabinetmaker from Sassari and artistic director of the homonymous furniture factory, who in 1947 chose to donate his rich collection of objects of ethnographic interest to the city museum .

The exhibition proposes a singular visual and narrative path, not chronological, in which the past is reworked in a contemporary key through new and suggestive combinations of archaeological and ethnographic materials.

The music by Paolo Fresu and the stories of some Sardinian writers accompany the tour. By framing the qr code of the panels (and of the brochure) it is possible to listen to the stories created by Bianca Pitzorno, Francesco Abate, Elvira Serra, Marcello Fois, Antonella Anedda and Flavio Soriga.
