Workplace accident on the Nuova 195: worker killed after falling from 6 meters

The worker involved in an accident at the construction site of the new State Road 195, near Tanca Nissa, in the Capoterra area, has died.

The victim is Michele Fuedda, 40, from Pula . According to initial reconstructions, he fell from a height of six meters.

After the alarm, the man was transported in very serious conditions to the emergency room of the Brotzu hospital aboard an air ambulance .

Unfortunately, doctors' attempts to save his life were in vain.

The Carabinieri of the Capoterra station, the local police and the Spresal staff are dealing with the incident, who have started investigations to reconstruct the dynamics of the tragedy and verify that safety conditions were respected.
