The inter-union of medical and healthcare managers of Arnas Brotzu expresses "strong concern for the new work organization feared by the company management that will see the light at the same time as the transfer of the surgical facilities from the Businco hospital to the San Michele". This is the note with which it contests the decision to start, next April 12, the restructuring of the two operating rooms of the Oncology department , with the consequent transfer of patients to the San Michele hospital.
"Hypothesizing a system of interdepartmental guards, and therefore of different specialties, to guarantee continuity of care in the various surgical departments of the company", underline the acronyms ANAAO-ASSOMED, AAROI EMAC, CIMO, FP CGIL Medici e diretti SSN, CISL Medici, FASSID, FESMED, FVM, UIL FPL Medici, "does not appear appropriate for a level II hospital in which the most complex patients for each specialty are taken care of. Furthermore, the serious anti-union behavior of the company is denounced, which has proceeded to bring forward organizational hypotheses without calling for the necessary opinions, the workers' representatives, on issues that the contract provides as a matter of union discussion ".
"As a consequence of the closed attitude once again held by the General Management", the note concludes, "which does not take into account the need of medical directors to be able to work in safety, to guarantee the safety of care for patients, the trade unions declare a state of agitation and reserve the right to undertake all initiatives preparatory to the proclamation of a day of strike ".
