Thus, between Ittiri and Villanova Monteleone, ten 66-megawatt steel giants are about to shatter the silence of the Grifone Valley, on Mount Unturzu.

In some cases, the bases for the wind turbines are already there: whoever built them had no respect for either the vegetation or the dry stone walls. The Gallura Committee reports this: "The cork oak and the stone have watched over and protected the return of the griffon vulture," according to a document from the group fighting against all speculation.
