Violent attack in Sassari, kicked and punched on the street: he is in intensive care

Attack in the night in Sassari where a man, a forty-five year old, was beaten with kicks and punches in the middle of the street. The victim is now hospitalized in serious conditions in the intensive care unit of the Santissima Annunziata.

The beating occurred shortly after 10:00 p.m., in via Kennedy , in the Latte Dolce neighborhood. According to the reconstruction by the local police, who are investigating the episode, the 45-year-old was approached by another man in the stretch near via Cedrino and hit with kicks and punches.

The attacker then ran away, leaving him on the ground, in a pool of blood. Emergency services arrived on the scene. An ambulance from 118 transported the injured man to the emergency room. His condition immediately appeared serious. The officers interviewed the few witnesses and now their attention is on the images recorded by the surveillance cameras installed in the area.
