Giovanni Fadda , last autumn, was overwhelmed and killed by his own off-road vehicle in the countryside of Villasimius . A death that shocked the family, bringing pain to the whole country .

Today the Fadda family , always involved in volunteering, the one "without uniforms", wanted to remember this by giving the possibility to a local voluntary association, the "South East Coast" , to buy a defibrillator for the benefit of citizens and tourists who flock to Villasimius during the summer.

Giovanni's family members, the mayor Luca Dessì , the parish priest, Don Gianni Soro , the village volunteers and various residents and tourists participated in the handover ceremony.

"We thank Giovanni's family and the South East Coast association - said Mayor Dessì - because this is the best way to remember a volunteer who is no longer there ".

The defibrillator was installed in Piazza Gramsci. Other defibrillators are present in via del Mare, corner with via Mazzini and in tourist facilities.
