Firefighters intervened at around 8:30 this morning, for a fire that broke out in the basement of a house in the locality of Coa Porteddu, in the municipality of Villacidro.
The emergency response team from the Sanluri Fire Brigade detachment was sent to the scene, supported by a fire truck and another support team from the Cagliari Command headquarters.
The operators, having arrived on site, put out the fire and secured the area, preventing the flames from spreading to the upper floor and the entire structure.
No one was found to be involved.
The intervention lasted for several hours, and investigations were started to establish the probable causes of the fire.
