Fatal accident in Cagliari just before midnight yesterday, on the day when two girls were hit by a car in Viale Marconi and one was hospitalized in very serious conditions.
In viale Trieste, on the other hand, a van crashed into a tree near the Cineteca Sarda. Gian Michele Campodonico, 46, lost his life. After the crash, the alarm was raised and rescuers arrived on the scene, but any attempt to revive him proved useless. A 41-year-old who was on the Fiat Doblò was instead loaded into an ambulance and transported in red code to the hospital.
The municipal police have the task of reconstructing the dynamics of what happened. It is not excluded that the driver had an illness.
