He had committed two robberies at two businesses in the center of Valledoria. The perpetrator of the break-ins was reported yesterday afternoon, Monday, February 16, by the Carabinieri of the Valledoria station, who operated in collaboration with colleagues from the Mobile Radio Operations Unit. He is charged with aggravated theft from two businesses.

During the night between Sunday and Monday, the man broke into the shops, stealing cash, jewelry, and various items after smashing the front windows. Following a complaint from the shopkeepers and further investigation, the Carabinieri determined that the man had first entered a newsstand and then a jewelry store, shattering the shop windows and causing havoc.

The Carabinieri were able to identify the perpetrator of the thefts and, after searching his home, recovered cash, gold jewelry, watches, various objects, and scratch-off tickets with a street value of approximately €3,500. The stolen goods were returned to their rightful owners, and the man was reported to the Sassari Public Prosecutor's Office, which is coordinating and leading the investigation.
