Shortly before 5pm, an Iveco Daily transporting wood, for reasons yet to be ascertained, went off the road, a few hundred metres from the Tirso Dam and ended up on a rocky ridge.

The firefighters of the Abbasanta detachment secured the scene and collaborated with the medical personnel. The driver and the passenger were transported to the hospital, the first by helicopter and the second by ambulance.
