Two small boats with 28 migrants intercepted by the Finance Department and escorted to Sant'Antioco

Two small boats with 28 migrants from North Africa on board were intercepted off the coast of Sardinia by the patrol boats of the aeronaval operational unit of the Guardia di Finanza.

To be precise, there are 24 men, three women and a child , all presumably Algerians.

The migrants, escorted to the port of Sant'Antioco , have been entrusted to the police for transfer to the reception center in Monastir , where the identification and medical examination will begin.
