Double burglary and damage in the early hours of this morning to the detriment of two Fiamma 2000 distributors on state road 130, in the Domusnovas area.
A first alarm went off at 5:30, the second about 20 minutes later but by the time the managers arrived the thieves, certainly more than one, had already fled. The damage was extensive: in the distributor along the 130 towards Cagliari the thieves entered the building by breaking a glass window and then stealing money and goods and creating devastation.
The scene was similar at the second petrol station along the 130 towards Iglesias: in this case the restaurant next to the petrol pump was targeted.
Clear signs of the strong blows struck on the windows by the thieves who entered inside and made merchandise on display and money from the tills disappear before venting their rage against furnishings and objects. In both cases the Carabinieri of the Iglesias radiomobile unit acquired the images from the surveillance cameras.
