Two ambulances of the Lamarck Assistance association on fire in Cagliari and Quartucciu

Double arson attack against an association that provides assistance services for Ares. Two ambulances set on fire at the same time in Cagliari and Quartucciu.

The target is Lamarck Assistance Onlus, a volunteer association founded eight years ago.

Someone, perhaps using flammable liquid, set fire to the engine compartment of an ambulance that was parked on Via Raffa Garzia in Cagliari.

An Audi A6 parked in front was also damaged. The flames started from the front and within minutes engulfed the rescue vehicle.

At the same time, a similar action was carried out in Via Nazionale in Quartucciu where the association is based.

The flying squad officers and the firefighters arrived in via Raffa Grazia, while the Radiomobile of the Quartu Carabinieri company and the firefighters arrived in Quartucciu.

The two fires were quickly extinguished, the two vehicles suffered serious damage. Police and Carabinieri have started investigations to trace the perpetrators and the reasons for the act.
