Trucks with towers and wind turbines, police deployed on the 131: another night of tension in Nuraminis

During the night, a new attempt was made to block the transport of wind turbines on the 131 , near Nuraminis , as had already happened last night. This time, however, the activists' intervention was prevented by the police , with police and carabinieri deployed to protect the convoy . In the end, the protesters were allowed to block the last truck for ten minutes, to explain their protest.
Monitoring the passage of the shovels were a couple of armored vehicles, police officers from the mobile unit, a dozen officers in riot gear with helmets and shields and the Carabinieri , who did not allow the trucks to be blocked.
After the convoy with the first four trucks, with the bulk of the equipment, had passed, a ten-minute stop was granted for the last vehicle, which however only had one rotor.
The protesters approached, read some slogans to explain their protest and at 1.25 the last truck also left.
During the night between Wednesday and Thursday, again near Nuraminis, the garrison of the committees that oppose energy speculation had blocked - at kilometre 28,600 of the 131 - the passage of the convoy .
