Giovannino Pinna , the underwater fisherman from Sassari who survived the shipwreck of last April 12 in the Gulf of Asinara , is being investigated for manslaughter . Victim of the accident Davide Calvia, the 38-year-old found lifeless on April 22 off the coast of Castelsardo.

The 35-year-old was summoned by the Sassari public prosecutor's office which also accused him of the theft of the boat , the six-metre semi-cabin that disappeared on the afternoon of the shipwreck from the quay of the Porto Torres port.

According to the investigators , the suspect would have caused, without will, the death of his cousin , perhaps a situation that got out of hand during the fishing trip .

Pinna had been investigated for manslaughter, an offense disputed after the man was released from hospital.

The cameras confirm the theft of the boat by the two cousins .

In the coming days, the suspect will appear before the public prosecutor Lara Senatore, who coordinates the investigation, and will have to answer for two counts of indictment: manslaughter and theft of the boat .
