Fear but no injuries this morning at the entrance to the town of Tissi, where a tractor overturned sideways along provincial road 3, completely blocking the roundabout and causing traffic disruption.

The accident occurred for reasons yet to be ascertained while the agricultural vehicle was tackling the curve of the ring road. Fortunately, the driver was unharmed by the overturning.

A team of firefighters from the Sassari headquarters, the local police and the Tissi barracelli intervened on the scene. A crane was needed to clear the roadway and remove the tractor. Traffic was restored only after several hours. The authorities are now reconstructing the exact dynamics of the incident.
