Touching message from Francesca Deidda's colleagues, waiting for the autopsy
From the call center where the victim worked, from which the investigations began after the woman's disappearance, a farewell to her friend. Tomorrow experts will be working to understand when and how she was killed"Hello Francesca". Signed: «Your colleagues». A few words that accompany the delicate watercolor drawing of a flower with petals between pink and crimson.
The message was published today on a Unione Sarda page by employees of the Call2Net call center. The one where Francesca Deidda worked, the forty-two year old from San Sperate who disappeared in May and whose remains were found many weeks later inside a bag hidden along the old Orientale, near San Priamo.
The investigations started from there. From that office where the woman's resignation arrived a month and a half ago. Sudden and unexpected. Too. So much so that her colleagues became suspicious. And after receiving the communication they tried to contact Francesca. Responses from his phone only came via Whatsapp. An anomaly.
So here is the “trap” message. A colleague was particularly worried because - she wrote, lying - another of them had also resigned, added a name, and asked to understand if the events were connected. From the cell phone of what was perhaps already a victim, a response along the lines of: "Ah, I'm sorry, and why?" had arrived.
And here is the confirmation of the suspicions: because that name transcribed in the message was invented. Francesca would have known, whoever was using her phone wouldn't.
Hence the start of the official investigations, with the disappearance report presented by Francesca's brother, Andrea Deidda. And the arrest of the person who, according to the investigators, killed the woman: her husband Igor Sollai, 43 years old. From his cell he continues to deny, professes his innocence. While the Ris carried out careful analyzes in the couple's home. And after the discovery of abundant traces of blood on the sofa, they are convinced that Francesca Deidda was killed there, and then transported to Sarrabus by car.
How was she killed? And when? The autopsy which will be carried out tomorrow will be able to answer these questions: the tests were entrusted by the Prosecutor Marco Cocco to the medical examiner Roberto Demontis, who will work alongside two super consultants appointed by the Prosecutor's Office, an entomologist and a forensic anthropologist. The hypothesis that emerged from the CT scan carried out on the bag is that the victim was hit in the head, in the frontal area. No sign of blade or bullets.
While waiting for the truth from the experts, the memory of a woman who was certainly barbarously killed remains. «An event that has deeply affected us», add the colleagues, «in this moment of pain, we join together to remember his precious professional and human contribution to our company. His memory will always remain with us."
