Three fires on the outskirts of Nuoro, flames also in Nurri

Three fires in three different areas involved firefighting men and vehicles this afternoon on the outskirts of Nuoro. The most challenging one broke out close to State Road 389, closed by the traffic police to facilitate operations.

Helicopters also intervened to support the teams on the ground.

An aircraft also took off to tackle the flames in Nurri, with an intervention coordinated by the Isili Forestry Service.
