The sand of Is Arutas is stolen, the bathers call the police: tourists fined

He had put up for sale online, on E-Bay, a bowl of quartz grains stolen from the beach of Is Arutas. Price: 18.99 euros.

But the criminal "feat" of a German user has not escaped the attention of the Municipality of Cabras , where reports have rained.

Mayor Andrea Abis presented himself this morning at the command of the carabinieri of the town of Sinis and filed a complaint, which has already come to the attention of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Oristano. The post has since been removed. But the network does not forgive and the traces have remained.

Also in recent days, around August 15th, there were two attempts by Italian and Danish tourists to collect sand and shells from the beach of Is Arutas, both of which ended with the seizure of the quartz and a fine of one thousand euros. The bathers raised the alarm through a phone call to the local police office.
