Illicit trafficking of influences and attempted extortion : these are the hypotheses of crime against the three people involved in the investigation of the Cagliari Public Prosecutor's Office which today brought the regional councilor of the Psd'Az Giovanni Satta, the provincial secretary of Confintesa and former councilor to house arrest of the municipality of Cagliari Anselmo Piras and the doctor Franco Savasta .
The seller of the RSA Piergiorgio Ollano is also under investigation: he, who is not the recipient of restrictive measures, would be charged with the crime of promising an undue sum.
The custody orders, requested by the prosecutors Danilo Tronci and Emanuele Secci and signed by the investigating judge, were carried out this morning by the Guardia di Finanza, which also carried out some searches.
The investigation revolves around the sale of the Rsa Villa degli Ulivi in Monastir to the company Orpea, which is extraneous to the investigation. Investigators are targeting the payment of one million euro consultancy that preceded the operation.
According to the accusation, the doctor Franco Savasta, anesthetist and resuscitator of the structure, would have committed in writing to pay half of the million agreed to Giovanni Satta as the second consultant of the real estate operation. Some death threats received by anonymous letters from the seller, the legal representative of the Villa degli Ulivi, are also included in the story.
The regional councilor of the Psd'Az rejects the accusations and says he is "unrelated" to the affair and "calm" about the work of the judiciary , according to what his lawyers Angelo Merlini and Gianluca Aste report.
