The figure has been consolidated with the passing of the hours, while starting from 11 pm from the polling stations the numbers of voters arrived: with the polls closed, Sardinia is the second worst region of Italy for turnout, which stood at 53.16% ( against the   65.06 of 2018). Highest abstention only in Calabria, which just exceeded 50% (compared to 63.71 reached four years ago).

CAGLIARI IN RILENTO

The definitive certification on the website of the Ministry of the Interior arrived only late at night, due to the delays recorded by Cagliari in the communications to the Interior Ministry (final figure 59.66%). A difficult day, in terms of electoral logistics, for the capital, where there were also inconveniences for the delivery of cards to those entitled to them who did not have them : all forced to long lines due to the malfunction of a server.

The Serrenti anomaly must also be recorded: data not received until well after one o'clock.

DATA AT 7 PM

The turnout at 7pm had stood at 40.95%, compared to 52.48% in the last political elections on March 4, 2018.

The most virtuous province is Cagliari, where 43.99% of those entitled to vote (45.65% in Cagliari city) voted, against 53.24% four years ago. In Nuorese the lowest figure: 38.16% of voters went to the polls, in 2018 it was 52.7%. In the capital, however, 46.27% voted.

In the Oristano area, 38.6% of those entitled (45.08 in Oristano city) voted, in 2018 51.32% voted. In the province of Sassari, on the other hand, the turnout is 41.17%, four years ago it was 52.15%. In Sassari city 45.24% of the voters went to the polls, in Olbia 39.61%. In Southern Sardinia, on the other hand, it is 39.7%, in 2018 it was 52.43%. In Carbonia the turnout is 42.23%.

DATA OF 12

Voter turnout at 12 in Sardinia is 15.58%, down from the previous elections which recorded 18.3%. In the metropolitan city of Cagliari the turnout is 17.55%, while in the city, according to the data of the Municipality, 22,300 voters voted, equal to 17.80% of those entitled.

In the province of South Sardinia, the turnout was 15.01%. In that of Oristano of 13.40%, with a peak of 16.41% in the capital.
