There are not a few people scammed by the 61-year-old owner of a fake café in Monserrato, who had created a bogus structure to get paid for services that he then did not render.

Once the scam's Pandora's box was discovered, the first people began to turn to the local police station. Four of them reported having paid a total of 7 thousand euros for the management and completion of the necessary paperwork to obtain citizenship income.

Obviously nonexistent practices, never transmitted to INPS. The unfortunate will have to start from scratch after having spent a large sum, while the citizen's income was perceived and how - unduly, of course - the owner of the fake Caf.

The 61-year-old should therefore not only return the stolen goods to the scammed, but also a figure of about 5 thousand euros to INPS. Difficult to do so, explain the carabinieri themselves: the scammers immediately make any proceeds from their activities disappear and are often and willingly unencumbered.
