The body of Antonello Spissu, the 62-year-old restaurateur who died after being transferred from a private clinic to the Policlinico di Monserrato, was seized by the Cagliari Public Prosecutor's Office.
It was decided by the prosecutor Andrea Massidda following the complaint presented by the family of the man, a well-known restaurateur in Cagliari, to the police of Monserrato. The file is currently against unknown persons and is for manslaughter.
The man was hospitalized in a private clinic after being in hospital due to Covid. On Thursday he felt ill and was rushed to the Polyclinic, where he died shortly after.
Relatives ask for clarification.
On Monday the magistrate will entrust the post for the autopsy in order to have a complete picture and hypothesize any responsibilities.
