An Areus helicopter also landed to rescue a 67-year-old man from Tortolì . However, after the on-board doctor assessed the driver, he was transported to Lanusei Hospital, where medical personnel performed all necessary checks.

The man was involved in an accident along the Orientale road, in the Tertenia area, near the Perdasdefogu exit . Carabinieri officers from the Jerzu company responded to the scene, carrying out the required investigations, along with the Lanusei firefighters and the Tertenia Croce Verde team, who administered first aid to the pensioner.
