Terralba, collision between tanker truck and van: two injured in hospital

Road accident in the late morning today, along the provincial road 61 in the territory of Terralba. For reasons yet to be ascertained, on a two-lane roadway, a tanker truck carrying sewage and a refrigerated van collided.

The crash occurred shortly after 11:00 a.m., near the industrial area. The two drivers – both injured but not seriously – were transported by 118 ambulances to the hospital in Oristano, for treatment and checks .

Immediate rescue: the Oristano fire brigade teams worked for a long time. To allow the carabinieri to carry out surveys, it was necessary to close the road to traffic, diverting it towards Marrubiu .
