For four days, Graziano Mesina and Attilio Cubeddu have no longer been hiding in the woods of Barbagia. Officially from Monday, the name of Raffaele Nonne, 44, from Fonnese, who escaped capture on Monday during the execution of the precautionary measures requested by the DDA, as part of the operation, is added to the list of super-wanted people on the island " Marghine ”led by the Ros of Nuoro , who dismantled an alleged criminal organization that had been managing drug trafficking between Sardinia and Calabria for years, with the involvement of the 'Ndrangheta as well.
"Fesseria", as Nonne is nicknamed, is one of the bandits who participated in the bloody robbery in Pula in 2007, and on Monday he was neither at home in Fonni nor in the farm of Decimoputzu, when the carabinieri went to pick him up to take him to the Badu and Carros prison. All searches gave "negative results". Escaped from the handcuffs, vanished for now into thin air, therefore officially untraceable and wanted for the police. According to investigators, "Fesseria" was a habitual buyer of large batches of coca on behalf of the Ndrangheta, and in August a year ago, together with Salvatore Innocenti, he had paid for drugs with 475,000 euros in cash.
Nonne is a prominent name in Barbagia crime, recently returned to freedom after having paid a long bill with justice: sentenced in the first instance to 20 years, sentence reduced on appeal and confirmed in Cassation at 17 years and 4 months, for the bloody robbery in Pula on October 9, 2007. That day, four robbers broke into the post office, but the carabinieri were nearby. A terrifying shooting had broken out. During the firefight between carabinieri and bandits, a hostage lost his life, the baker Pietro Locci hit by military fire and one of the bandits, Salvatore Brau, killed by a shot from an accomplice; Pasquale Congiu and Giuseppe Cadinu had run away in the baker's van, while Nonne had given up. This time, however, the Fonnese decided to go into hiding.
