State Road 195 remains closed between Cagliari and Capoterra: debris clearing operations are underway.
The violent storm surge caused extensive damage: Anas technicians were on site to assess the damage.The fury of the storm surge unleashed in the last few hours by cyclone Harry has caused considerable damage to the State Road 195, the Sulcitana which connects Cagliari with the western side of the Golfo degli Angeli.
At the moment the road , which has given way in some places under the force of the water , is still closed between the start of the route, at the entrance to Cagliari, and km 10.6 in Capoterra .
There is also a large amount of debris brought by the waves, for which cleanup operations are underway.
Anas technicians are currently carrying out damage assessments, which will allow them to begin planning restoration and safety interventions.
