After two months of stalemate, two null votes in the city council and a vote against on the budget forecast, 24 hours before the deadline for the dissolution of the administration and the arrival of the commissioner in Nuoro there is an opening to Soddu administration.

The proposal on the table to "take it or leave it" is that of a council of broad agreements with a few clear programmatic points which comes from Angelo Arcadu, so the center-right could vote on the budget , and ferry the city until February 24th, the date for be able to call elections in the spring. The pact presupposes sending home all the current councilors and finding new names and that none of the current city councilors join the council.

The opening comes to the mayor Andrea Soddu from the group leader of the three center-right exponents Angelo Arcadu, Emilio Zola and Pierluigi Saiu but it also has another condition «provided that there is unanimity of the entire council» but underlining that «all the political forces must agree. We will not be part of the Soddu majority, we will not help the broad camp to occupy the city with a commissioner. Those who hold back (the Democratic Party) do so because they want (their) commissioner. If the picture doesn't change, the city council is useless", claims the centre-right. Mayor Soddu has officially registered the resignation of the council which had been suspended for two weeks.
