Sinnai, the lights of a Christmas tree vandalized: the local police investigate

Investigations by the local police after the damage to the lights of a Christmas tree in Piazza Sant'Isidoro in Sinnai .

Unknown persons severed the very low voltage wires that powered the lights, rendering them useless. Today the tree of lights will be put back in place by the same company that created the lights in Sinnai.

The local police coordinated by commander Giuseppe Fiori is looking for any witnesses and is examining the images of some cameras that could allow the perpetrator of the vandalism to be identified.

The Municipality has decided to rebuild the tree in the same spot, with the hope that the episode will not be repeated.

The lights in Sinnai were placed in the busiest streets where Christmas events are scheduled and in the Piazza Chiesa, Santa Vittoria, Sant'Isidoro and in the tourist hamlet of Solanas for a cost of six thousand euros.
