Sinnai, car against truck in the tunnel: four injured, two in red code

Four are injured, two in serious condition, in the terrible accident that took place this afternoon along the new eastern Sardinian in Sinnai .

Inside the “Arcu Sa Porta” tunnel, at kilometer 12, a car collided head -on with a truck.

The most seriously injured are the two drivers, transported to the Brotzu in Cagliari and the Policlinico di Monserrato both in red code with the helicopter rescue and in serious condition but - as far as we know - not in danger of life.

Immediate intervention on the spot by the fire brigade, 118 ambulances and the traffic police. Anas personnel also intervened, temporarily closing the section of the new state road 125 and diverting traffic to allow rescue and surveys.
