The diving operations to recover the bodies of Antonio Morlè and Enrico Piras, the two fishermen who died Wednesday in the shipwreck of the Luigino fishing vessel off the coast of Santa Maria Navarrese, were suspended yesterday due to bad weather.
The dives, originally scheduled for today, have been postponed due to adverse weather conditions. Meanwhile, the Coast Guard continues patrolling the stretch of sea where the tragedy occurred. Patrol boats are specifically searching the area where, in the past few hours, the EPIRB, the emergency device that signals the vessel's position, was found near the coast.
However, the stretch of sea continues to be patrolled non-stop.
